Aljezur has much to offer as far as culture and gastronomy are concerned.
The small town in the west Algarve is a delight to visit at any time of the year but now you have a special reason to head there.
In a bid to promote the locally grown produce and gastronomy, Aljezur is hosting the Feira da Terra each Saturday until the end of August, from 8am to 1pm.
As in previous years, visitors to the EMA (Aljezur Multiuse Space) will find a variety of biological products and agro-food, such as honey, smoked sausages or regional sweets.
Artisans will also be showcasing their creations in and area dedicated to handicrafts.
The aim of the event is to promote the area’s economic activities, which enrich the council and reinforce the need to preserve rural traditions.
