All set for London and Manchester “Moving to Portugal” events

Brexit uncertainty may still be in the air but at the time of going to press, registrations from members of the public to attend the seminars at London’s “Moving to Portugal” were already slightly higher than at the same point ahead of the last event held in May.

The full-day event of seminars about living in Portugal, with a break-off exhibition room, will be held at the Pestana Chelsea Bridge Hotel in London on November 12, followed by Manchester on the 14th at the Manchester Central Convention Centre.

The events are organised by the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce in the UK. Chamber General Manager Christina Hippisley is confident that the events will mirror the success of others held earlier this year and over the last few years in London, Birmingham and Dublin.

“There is still a strong appetite amongst the UK public to learn more about setting up home elsewhere in Europe, and Portugal is especially attractive. Our events provide valuable insight into all aspects of investing in and living in Portugal, with a special focus on the tax breaks of the NHR (non-habitual tax residency regime) and the chance to meet and chat with local experts,” said Christina.

At the time of going to press, places were still available at both events.
