All Saints Anglican Church Almancil celebrate Harvest Festival

All Saints Anglican Church in Almancil are preparing to celebrate Harvest Festival with a special service on Sunday, October 18 at 10.30am, live and interactive through Zoom.

Rev’d Mike Clarkson, Vicar of All Saints Almancil, says: “Harvest celebration holds an especially important place in the Church Calendar. It means lots of things.

It means helping those in need in our community with donations of food. It means celebrating as a Church family all that we have, and it means being thankful to God for all that he has given to us.”

All Saints are planning to do both things to retain their traditions, but, of course, radically changed to meet all the Covid-19 safety requirements.

So, this Harvest Festival, individual homes in the Congregation will be hosting small gatherings for shared worship followed by a shared meal. And their guests, friends and family will be asked to bring with them their donations for the ASCA foodbank.

All are welcome to join.
