Award to be presented in Cantanhede tomorrow
Aljezur International School, well-known for its motto ‘education with inspiration’, has been awarded with the coveted ‘selo protetor’ issued by the national commission for children’s and young people’s rights (CNPDPCJ) in recognition of entities that they have the necessary protocols in place to ensure the emotional and physical wellbeing of their students.
The news, taking the little school by delightful surprise, sees director Sílvia Catarino and two members of staff (Giacomo Osti and Maria João Sacadura) on their way to Cantanhede, in the north, tomorrow to be presented with the ‘selo’ (stamp) by president of CNPDPCJ Rosário Farmhouse, in the presence of Cantanhede mayor Helena Teodósio.
