Here, the only trouble you’ll have is choosing
Following a complete renovation, Aljezur Intermarché has reopened, larger than ever. A flagship in this council for its modern look and comfortable access, the shop offers a more diverse shopping experience and a wider product range to choose from. Doubled in size, the wine section now houses new labels from the Alentejo, Douro and Setúbal.
The revamped space also focuses on fresh produce, a hallmark for all Intermarché shops, along with self-service. “Quick purchase is increasingly valued and, during the high season, it allows for greater circulation of people within the store, avoiding some queues at the counters,” says Ariana Nobre, head of marketing. Available for self-service is an island with Algarve orange juice and chopped seasonal fruit, both ready to go. The butcher’s, fish counter and delicatessen also have treated, cut and packaged products that guarantee customers a faster, more convenient and efficient purchase.
The Viva Bem (live well) section is fully dedicated to products promoting health and wellbeing, including a few dietetic ranges, right next to Viva Bio (live bio), with 100% biologic products, both local and national.
Also new is the Natur’all area, where the motto is “living well starts with eating well”. The concept was lifted from the Lagos shop, and features a cafeteria and take-away service, as well as several organic, vegan and vegetarian products, and where every meal is prepared with the freshet ingredients supplied directly by local partners.
