Aljezur City Council announced the municipality has installed 12 new shelters for passengers on its public transport circuit.

The initiative, which involved installing metal structures with glass panels, LED lighting and solar energy panels, making them self-sufficient, saw an investment of around €50,000.

“This measure contributes to creating better safety conditions for all transport users, essentially the Aljezur student community”, says the municipality.
