Aline causes widespread flooding and incidents, but no victims this far

Depression Aline has caused widespread incidents throughout mainland territory: trees blown down; branches blown off, damaging parked cars; roof tiles sent flying; flooding particularly, but up till now there appear to have been no victims. People, particularly in Lisbon, may have required temporary rehousing as a result of flooding, but the overall effects have been less dramatic than bad weather in the recent past. Today, warnings are for raging seas. Civil Protection services also sound the alert that conditions will worsen again over Sunday/ Monday next week.
