Algerian airline Air Algerie has opened operations in Portugal with four direct weekly flights between Lisbon and Algiers, to be served by a 142-seat Boeing 737-600. The flights are expected to move as many as 4,000 passengers a year. They will run on Mondays and Thursdays, with a flying time of 1 hour and 45 minutes. For passengers keen to travel on the central Africa, the new link will offer a connection, a spokesman for the airline told Lusa news agency.
