The Algarve’s Wind Orchestra (Orquestra de Sopros do Algarve) will be interpreting works by Portuguese composer Jorge Salgueiro on Sunday (March 6) at Faro’s Teatro das Figuras. According to organisers, the symphony ‘Mare Nostrum’ will be the highlight of the evening. It was written by Salgueiro as a tribute to Portugal’s Era of Discoveries.
