Event || The Algarve Chefs Week is back again this month for its fourth event, showcasing “the best food the region has to offer”.
Between May 23 and 30, eight top chefs from eight of the Algarve’s top hotels and restaurants will be cooking unique dishes to be enjoyed by both hotel guests and food lovers in general.
As usual, the event will officially kick off at Faro Airport on May 22.
The chefs will be showing off their culinary skills in the airport arrivals area between 3pm and 7pm, while also offering a sample of the dishes they will be preparing for the Algarve Chefs Week.
The eight participating hotels will be opened throughout the special gastronomic week between 7.30pm and 10.30pm. Each menu costs €30, excluding drinks.
A special ‘Algarve Chefs Week Passport’ can also be purchased which grants access to all eight participating restaurants and gives the diner a chance to win a weekend stay at one of the hotels.
As in previous events, €1 of the price of each meal will be donated to CASA charity in Faro which supports underprivileged people in the Algarve.
Participating hotels, restaurants and chefs include:
• Chef Andrew McGie – Restaurante Louro, Conrad Algarve;
