The Algarve’s popular Tapas Route (Rota do Petisco) is going back to its roots to ‘Terras do Arade’ – where the initiative began seven years ago – taking in the towns of Portimão, Lagoa, Silves and Monchique.
Starting on September 8 and running until October 15, 160 eateries will be serving traditional tapas for €3 (savoury + drink) and €2 (sweet + drink).
A ‘passport-guide’ (Passaporte da Rota) to the event must be purchased for €1 at any of the participating establishments. The Rota do Petisco is organised by Portimão-based association Teia D’Impulsos.
