The Algarve’s first Piano Festival begins next month (Saturday, February 18) with a performance by Mário Laginha and Armando Mota accompanied by the Portuguese Philharmonic Orchestra at Portimão’s TEMPO theatre. Four other piano performances are scheduled for March. The festival is part of the ‘Algarve 365’ designed to bolster cultural events during the so-called low season.
Tickets for the first show, starting at 9.30pm, cost €10.
