Lota Cool Market has become a major summer event in Portimão
Organisers have confirmed the return of the Lota Cool Market to Portimão this summer.
Marketed as the “coolest market in the south of Portugal,” the event will be held between July 5 and 9 (one more day compared to last year) near the renovated ‘Lota’ building at the local riverside.
The market is also expected to be larger than ever this year, organising association Teia D’Impulsos says.
‘Blue Fever’ has been chosen as the theme for this year’s event, which every year highlights the importance of sustainability and will yet again feature dozens of craftspeople, designers, local producers and food truckers who follow this motto.
There will also be live performances by local and regional artists and bands, street entertainment and workshops.
Registrations are open for exhibitors until June 15.
“We are seeking craftspeople and creative people who use natural products or reuse materials in their creations, maintaining sustainable habits in their work,” Teia D’Impulsos says.
