Wine buffs may be intrigued to take part in the presentation of the Algarve Wine Route – Rota dos Vinhos do Algarve – scheduled to take place at the Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo in Faro on May 6 at 3.30pm.
The day is designed to present the latest ‘guide book’ of Algarve wines, but it will also include a talk on the importance of promoting regional products – and include many heavyweights in both regional tourism and winemaking.
Faro Mayor Rogério Bacalhau as well as tourism chief Desidério Silva will be on board to cheer the way and take part in various tastings.
