Described as “very similar to last year’s”, the Algarve’s fire fighting plan for the summer was presented on Tuesday (May 12), revealing that the region will have 445 fire fighters on call between July and September.
District commander of the civil protection authorities Vítor Vaz Pinto added firefighters will have 112 vehicles – including four helicopters – at their disposal.
