Algarve welcomes BPM dance festival

The BPM electronic music festival, which will see a “powerhouse contingent of underground DJs and producers land on Europe’s southwestern edge”, is taking place this month (September 14-17) in Portimão and Lagoa.

The line-up features over 170 artists including “the most globally in-demand names such as Art Department, Hot Since 82, Jamie Jones, Jackmaster, Loco Dice, Nastia, Nicole Moudaber, Paco Osuna, Pan-Pot, and Seth Troxler to pivotal underground dance music pioneers like Carl Craig, Danny Tenaglia, Dubfire, Paul Kalkbrenner, Richie Hawtin, and Victor Calderone”.

Shows will take place across four days in seven “unique venues” in the two towns.

Tickets have almost completely sold out, with only four-day passes being sold for €215.
