Algarve welcomes 33rd bikers’ rally to Faro

Motorbike aficionados from all over are expected to flock to the Algarve capital this week for the 33rd motorbike rally, the famous international bikers’ event organised annually by the Moto Clube de Faro that has become one of the region’s biggest summer events.
As always, the rally, which takes place between July 17 and 20, will feature an extensive programme of activities and events, including motorbike parades and shows including the popular Miss Wet T-Shirt Competition, concerts, fairs, competitions and much more.
One of the highlights of the event will be the live performance of Steve Harris, bassist for iconic British Metal band Iron Maiden, who will be performing tunes from his debut solo album entitled ‘British Lion’.
A number of Spanish and Portuguese acts will also be taking the stage, as well as UK melodic Metal band The Raven Age.
Tickets – only sold for the four days – can be purchased on the event’s inaugural day and cost €45.
The tickets grant access to all of activities as well as free gifts, free bus trips from the rally site in Vale das Almas to Faro city centre and back, and even a chance to win a motorbike and a week-long stay in Daytona Beach in Florida, USA.
