The Algarve Ukulele Band performed their first major concert at MacJetes Restaurant in Bordeira.
The 12-strong group, part of The Algarve Rock Choir, played not only Ukuleles, but Banjos, Mandolins, Bouzoukis and Keyboards, capturing the audience from the start with a variety of foot-tapping “get up and dance” hits from the 60s through the decades.
A collection of €700 was made and is being donated to Os Miúdos children’s home in Loulé.
