Carvoeiro is hosting an Algarvian Night on Saturday, July 23, from 9.30pm.
The event aims to provide typical Algarvian entertainment, with popular marches from folk dance groups from Mexilhoeira Grande and Pedra Mourinha.
The parade will be going along Estrada do Farol (restaurants street), Rua dos Pescadores (road into town) and Rua do Barranco (road out of town).
Business owners in the town are being invited to join the party by decorating their premises based on the Algarvian theme.
Meanwhile, following a summer beach party in the town last month, a new date has been announced for a similar event in August by organisers Associação Vozesintensas, the business owners and residents association of Carvoeiro.
The event, on Friday, August 12, will see DJs playing into the early hours, however, names are yet to be confirmed.
