An opportunity to enjoy a range of luxury spa treatments at two of the finest five-star hotels in the Algarve at 50% of the normal price will be available during the Algarve Spa Week from March 16 to 23.
The event is an inititiative by Tivoli Hotels & Resorts and will take place in the Elements Spa by Banyan Tree in Tivoli Victoria and the Angsana Spa of Tivoli Marina Vilamoura.
When the first Algarve Spa Week was staged in October 2010, it was so successful it became a biannual event with the participation of nine spas from the best five-star hotels in the region.
The Elements Spa by Banyan Tree has an indoor pool with a vitality circuit and a range of facilities and treatments: hydro-massage, relaxation lounge area, and private Jacuzzis with pleasant views over the prestigious Oceânico-Victoria golf course where the Portugal Masters took place.
The 1,200sqm spa is described as the perfect sanctuary for wellbeing and there is a wide range of Asian treatments, learned from the Academia da Banyan Tree in Phuket Thailand, to rejuvenate the body, mind and soul.
The Angsana Spa has 11 treatment rooms and an outside relaxation area and offers traditional treatments using natural products such as fruit, herbs, spices and plants.
Treatments will be priced from €25 (with the discount included).
A publicity launch for the event will take place at the Bolsa de Turismo (BTL) tourism and trade fair in Lisbon on March 2 where the Algarve Tourism Board will have a stand.
