World class snooker players will be at the Pavilhão Arena in Portimão May 8 and 10 to play in the inaugural final of the World Series of Snooker.
Top ranking players from around the world, including John Higgins, Steve Davis, Shaun Murphy and Ken Docherty, will all be present for the final, which is due to receive worldwide coverage from Eurosport.
Organisers of the event believe that this will be the pinnacle of a fantastic tournament that has seen competitors play to packed houses across the world.
Five thousand live spectators and 22.5 million global viewers are expected to watch the final in Portimão.
The first round will start at midday on May 8 with all players competing against each other once before the winners and runners up progress to the second round which will start at 7pm. The quarter finals will be played the following day, with the afternoon session starting at 1pm and the evening session starting at 7pm. From 1pm on Sunday, the semi-finals will run all afternoon before the final match, which is due to start at 7pm.
