The Algarve Seniors Bikers (ASB) held their summer ride last Thursday (July 25).
Arriving at the usual ASB meeting point in Paderne, members found difficulty parking as the car park was occupied by market stalls selling a whole range of goods.
Several members acquired some bargains before riding down the road to a nearby parking spot to sort out the two groups for the ride.
The route, a bit shorter than usual because of the hot weather, was up to the viewpoint at Malhao for a break at the always popular Café Miramar before heading off over the hills towards Amexial and back south to Salir.
The event finished with a very nice typically Portuguese-style lunch at Restaurante ‘O Regresso’ in Salir.
The ride organisers were Steve Wills and David Shirley. The next event, a lunch at the Faro Moto Club, will take place on Tuesday, August 20.
