Algarve resident Kate Hewitson representing Portugal in the World Bowls Champion of Champions competition

Algarve resident Kate Hewitson will shortly be on her way to the other side of the world to represent Portugal in the World Bowls Champion of Champions competition. This year it is played at Christchurch, New Zealand.
Kate, who plays bowls at Vilamoura Bowls Club, won the Bowls Portugal Ladies Singles title earlier in the year which qualified her to enter the one-week long World Championship with 22 countries.
