Algarve Removals help Vale do Lobo villa owner go the extra mile for needy

Charity || A Vale do Lobo villa owner, who recently celebrated her 70th birthday at home in London, challenged her friends to skip gifts and instead select a personal donation for ACCA, a non-profit charitable organisation based in Almancil that raises funds to support needy children, families and other causes across the Algarve.
The result was overwhelming with friends, and even friends of friends, filling over 80 large boxes of clothes, shoes, toys, household items and more. Some friends bought new, while others found plenty of things they no longer needed but had kept in very good condition.
A few friends wanted to offer a financial donation and these funds have been spent mainly on educational equipment. All the party guests, including children, said how much they enjoyed selecting some of their belongings to give away and that it felt wonderful to know their donations were going to such a good cause.
Faced with the dilemma of how to get all the goods safely to the Algarve, the family contacted John Scott at Algarve Removals. Without hesitation, John offered to ship, free of charge, the entire load: all 80 boxes, extra items including a three-piece suite, two prams, a crib, three cots, two bicycles and two walking frames.
John and all at Algarve Removals entered into the true spirit of the occasion and delivered everything to their depot in Alcantarilha at the beginning of September. ACCA volunteers devoted their time and energy to distributing the items to those in the Algarve who really need them.
