Poker players came together between August 11 and 13 at the Hotel Algarve Casino in Praia da Rocha to take part in the Summer Festival, part of the Solverde Poker Season 2010.
More than 400 people from across Portugal were joined by visiting players from Spain, France and America for the tournament, which consisted of qualifying rounds before the final on August 13.
Paulo Costa emerged as the winner of the competition and took away winnings of more than 14,000 Euros, with Pedro Marques coming in second place with winnings of more than 9,000 Euros followed by Nuno Tinoco with 5,900 Euros.
