A CONCERT by the Algarve Orchestra will inaugurate the new Lagoa Auditorium on April 15. A varied programme follows in the ensuing days, including a Lagoa Artists Gala (April 16th), a Sports Gala with stand-up comedy from Nilton (22nd), Recitália (23rd), Ecos de Coimbra (24th), Corvos (25th), Good Time Jazz Band (29th) and a concert by Mafalda Veiga (30th). The Algarve Orchestra will also launch the Faro Capital of Culture celebrations on April 30, when it will perform in the Grand Auditorium at the University of the Algarve. The concert will feature viola soloist Ana Bela Chaves.
