THE ALGARVE Orchestra has returned to the São Luiz Theatre in Lisbon to present works from famous composers such as Mozart and Gounod. This was the second time in its history that the orchestra had the honour of participating in Music Month (Mês da Música), an event organised by the Theatre São Luiz, in which different national orchestras participate. The conductor was presided over by Álvaro Cassuto, the Algarve Orchestra’s artistic director and chief conductor.
