The Algarve has been nominated for the World Travel Awards 2010 in several categories for best hotels and resorts.
Hotel Vila Joya in Albufeira is nominated in two categories, Best Boutique Resort and Best Boutique Hotel. Dona Ana beach in Lagos is nominated for Best Beach.
Vila Sol Spa & Golf Resort in Vilamoura is among the nominees for Best Resort for Meetings and Conferences, and Martinhal Beach Resort & Hotel in Sagres is nominated for Best New Resort.
Vila Vita Parc Resort in Porches is one of the nominees for the Best Luxury Resort. The winners will be known in November 7.
