The 31st international music festival of the Algarve (FIMA) continues this week with a variety of musical and ballet performances across the region.
Following its start on April 10, the musical festival will continue tonight (Friday) with a piano recital by pianist Marian Sobula in the Caldas de Monchique auditorium from 9.30pm.
Entry to this performance is free of charge but limited places are available.
Tomorrow (Saturday), musicians Patrycja Piekutowska and Marian Sobula will be performing a violin and piano recital from 9.30pm at Silves Câmara. On Sunday, this performance will be repeated in Castro Marim’s municipal library at the same time. Both of these events are also free for the public to enjoy.
On April 28 and 29, Portugal’s national dance company will be performing Four Reasons e Concerto at the Lagos Cultural Centre from 9.30pm, with tickets costing 12 euros per person. This show will be repeated on May 2 at the Teatro das Figuras in Faro and will start at the same time, however tickets cost between 16 and 20 euros per person.
FIMA is the most ambitious music festival ever undertaken in the Algarve.
