The Luz Anglican Church Kids Club hosted a night of entertainment with local children showcasing their talents in Algarve Kids Got Talent on October 2 to raise funds to help build a school in Peru for handicapped children.

Held at the hall in the Tempomar apartment complex in the village of Burgau, children performed a variety of acts before the three judges impersonating Simon Cowell, Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden. Gerry Fagan mastered the job of impersonating both Ant and Dec throughout the evening.

While votes were counted, the audience was entertained with a raffle.

The talent show, organised by Kerry Burr, had two winners: dance group Vibe which included Charley Minards, Emily Price, Lilly Shelton and Molly Burr, and singer Alice Millward.

The night raised 1,780 euros for the fundraising project.
