The Algarve Jazz Orchestra and Marta Hugon will perform “A Warm Christmas” concert on December 19 in Silves at the Al-Muthamid Square, at 9pm.
Portuguese jazz singer Marta Hugon joins the Algarve Jazz Orchestra for this performance where the audience will enjoy some of the most emblematic season standards, such as “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”, but also others like “Time After Time”, “Misty” or “Embraceable You”. Songs immortalised by the voices of Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, and many, many other voices.
The Algarve Jazz Orchestra along with singer Marta Hugon will perform in Silves after the Christmas concert at the Lagoa Auditorium the day before (December 18) (click here).
The “Orquestra de Jazz do Algarve”, a band comprised of 18 musicians, was created by Hugo Alves, and is a unique and nationally respected project due to the importance it has had in promoting music and jazz in the country, in the training of musicians and, above all, for its high-quality musical performances.
Entrance is free but attendees must arrive early (at least one hour before) to collect an entry voucher delivered at the door. Due to the limited number of seats, the availability of vouchers is limited to one per person.
