LAGOA’S FATACIL exhibition ground is to host ‘Algarve Jardim’, a brand new fair focusing on flowers, gardening, plants, equipment and swimming pools, taking place between May 25 and 29, from 11am until midnight.
The total exhibition area will be 6,000sqm and stands at the event will be promoting a wide range of items from plants and garden furniture to fishponds and swimming pools.
As well as the large number of stands available to view, there is also the possibility to attend a series of informative seminars hosted by entities related to agriculture and the environment, as well as by the Algarve University.
And, after finding out what’s new in the gardening world, visitors will be able to enjoy live musical entertainment, watch equestrian shows and partake in the 10th Portuguese Gastronomy Week.
The reasons for choosing the Algarve to host this major exhibition include its enormously rich floristic patrimony, with more than 6,000 national plant varieties, of which 3,000 are rare, the progressive growth in the re-qualification of urban areas and the increase in green spaces within new developments.
