Seven of Portugal’s 10 most tagged beaches on Instagram are located in the Algarve, according to a study by search engine for vacation rentals Holidu.
Leading the way by far is Portimão’s Praia da Rocha with 97,587 hashtags, followed by Lagoa’s Praia da Marinha (46,263) and Lagos’ Praia da Luz (35,256).
Also among the top-10 are Albufeira’s Falésia (22,914), Castro Marim’s Verde (17,458), Aljezur’s Amado (15,217) and Tavira’s Barril (13,047) beaches.
