The Algarve branch of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs met for their first meal of the year at the Restaurante Camané on Faro Island on Friday, January 9.
Members and friends were greeted with a glass of Kir Imperial before their meal, which was accompanied by a selection of wines including a Charca Branco 2007 from Quinta de Catralvos in Azeitão and a Monte das Servas Tinto 2006 from the Herdade das Servas in Estremoz, central Portugal.
The group’s next event will be a pre-Carnival and pre-Valentine’s day celebration dinner at Rodizio in Lagoa on February 13.
