NOW IN its second year, Algarve Convida (Algarve Invites), an exhibition to promote the Algarve, will be held in Lisbon at Pavilhão Atlantîco from March 16 to 18.
Tour operators will be doing business with the Algarve’s key resorts and hotels with the general public benefiting from discounted holiday packages, which can be bought directly at the event.
The exhibition celebrates everything Algarvean, from tourism to gastronomy and culture to arts and crafts, providing those in the capital and from other parts of the country with the perfect opportunity to discover what the Algarve has to offer.
In 2006, more than 15,000 visitors attended the event and this year an extra day has been added to meet demand.
Organised by the Região de Turismo do Algarve (RTA), the Algarve tourism board, admission is free.
Algarve Convida will be open to trade representatives only on March 16 and to the general public on March 17, from 11am to 8pm and March 18, from 11am to 6pm. For more information call 289 800 441 or email [email protected]
