Sunday (May 4) sees the Portuguese national day for hunters to clean-up the environment. In the Algarve, this means up to 300 hunting enthusiasts will be scouring country areas in and around Castro Marim. Any valuable metals or other materials collected will be sold to raise money for charity.
Previous clear-ups have brought in up to 60 tons of abandoned refuse.
