Chefs from some of the Algarve’s most luxurious hotels will be joining forces for another Algarve Chefs Week Christmas Dinner, which will take place at the new Centro de Congressos do Algarve at Vilamoura Marina on Saturday, December 1.
The goal of the event is to raise funds to support two charities in the Algarve – APEXA, which supports people with disabilities, and CATRAIA, which provides a shelter for neglected children in Portimão.
The menu will be created by 14 chefs: Adérito Almeida, André Basto, Bruno Viegas, Bruno Oliveira, David Domingues, Diogo Pereira, José Botelho, José Leitão, Luís Batalha, Miguel Lourenço, Miguel Teixeira, Nuno Martins, Vítor Monteiro and Vítor Moreira.
Apart from the delicious food, guests will also be able to enjoy a presentation by Portuguese TV personality Mário Augusto, a musical performance by Filipe Pinto, the winner of the third Portuguese Idols TV competition, and a stand-up comedy performance by Guilherme Fonseca.
Tickets, costing €30, can be purchased starting this Thursday (November 15) at the following hotels and institutions: Conrad Algarve, Hilton Vilamoura, NAU Salgados Dunas Suites, Tivoli Marina Vilamoura, Anatara Vilamoura Resort, Vidamar Resort Hotel Algarve, Monte Santo Resort, APEXA and CATRAIA.
The event is sponsored by the Open Media Group, publishers of the Algarve Resident newspaper, as well as Costa Nova, KOBU, Makro, Starsul, Prochef, RISE and Taylor.
