A FESTIVAL of events to mark the 80th birthday of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll is being organised by members of St. Vincent’s Anglican Church.
Commencing with pop groups from around Portugal performing a midnight gig on August 12, there are many exciting events being organised throughout the Algarve.
Musical talent from around Europe will be called upon to entertain the public in several venues. A choir from Wales will be participating, as well as singers from various countries, and there will be jazz afternoons and evenings.
Golf is always popular among those living in the Algarve, and a Gala Golf Day is part of the programme. Another popular event will be a Race Night with a bookie to take your bets. There will also be church services with a choir on the beach.
