As autumn fast approaches and we adapt to the “new normal”, we all do our best to continue to live healthy and happy lives.
Algarve Care Services have continued to support those who need a helping hand through these difficult and challenging times. “We’ve seen a large increase in people taking up our homecare services, affected not by the virus infecting them, but by circumstances such as an unintended lack of family support, because relatives and friends simply can’t get flights here to take care of them or can’t commit to quarantine upon their return. We’ve also seen an increase in hospital discharges as the Portuguese hospitals try desperately to curb internal infection and free up beds. The demand has at times outweighed supply, but we’re very grateful to our committed team of international carers that continue to deliver high-quality, safe and loving care to our clients above and beyond their expectations, when they need us most”, say Kelly Harper, CEO and founding partner.
With a special announcement coming soon, to firmly establish their reputation as one of the Algarve’s leading private homecare providers, Algarve Care Services continue to support both the Portuguese and the Expat community with various care packages from just companionship and errand running, to Live in Care and Registered Nursing Support. This year hasn’t slowed them down – they moved to a brand-new office, have launched their Mobility Equipment Rental Service and have established their very own Care Training Academy.
