Algarve dog trainer João Paulino and two-year-old Boxer dog Echo von der Königswiese will be representing Portugal at the IPO ATIBOX WM world championship that will take place on April 7 and 8 in Haro, La Rioja (Spain).
It is the first time ever that a Portuguese trainer qualified to join the contest with a Boxer dog. The pair scored 271 points out of 300 during a qualification event on February 18.
João Paulino told the Resident that the young dog “trains joyfully every day since he was two months old”.
They are now seeking sponsors to be able to take part in the championship.
