WITH JUST one round of matches remaining, the PDF Crusaders maintained their position at the top of the table and wrapped up the title for this season with a convincing home victory 60-34 over the VDL Top Hats, taking nine points to nil.
The only other team that could have caught them, the Alvor Greens, went to CPO and lost 66-51 and by seven points to two. Therefore, the Crusaders can go to play their last game against the Alvor Blues, safe in the knowledge that the championship is theirs.
