Algarve birdwatching promoted at British fair

Once again, the “excellent conditions” offered in the Algarve for the world’s twitchers and bird lovers have been promoted at the British Birdfair 2015 in Rutland, UK.

As Algarve nature tourism businesses return from the event, Dora Coelho from the ATA (Algarve tourism association) said one of Portugal’s main attractions in this constantly developing sector is that “we have species that aren’t found anywhere else in Europe” and the climate allows for birdwatching all year round.
