Following a recent charity barbecue in support of Pirilampos children’s home in Albufeira which raised over €1,000, Algarve Senior Bikers (ASB) raised a further €700 to help purchase much-needed items for the children.
ASB members Peter and Jane Allen organised the collection and, as a result of their efforts, it was possible to donate a large selection of clothes, bedding and toiletries.
The donation was received by Cláudia Lóios, director of the Pirilampos children’s home and the Gaivota home for teenagers. Both homes will benefit from the donation.
Cláudia Lóios thanked Peter and Jane, and ASB members for their ongoing support.
