The Algarve’s International Autodrome (AIA) promises an “exciting weekend”, with four “big” events planned to delight racing enthusiasts.
The TCR International Series will be the highlight, taking place between Friday and Sunday (May 8-10), and featuring cars that “not only look impressive but are capable of delivering a strong performance”.
At the same time, the track will host Portugal’s national speed championship Racing Weekend.
The nearby kartodrome will also be hosting the CIK Karting European Championship, which was scheduled to start on Wednesday and carry through.
Also on the programme is a ‘Drag and Drift’ event, featuring a number of drivers and bikers performing some impressive tricks.
Tickets for the events cost €5 and €10.
