Algarve author and former Editor of The Resident Group magazines Suzy Turner is chopping off her hair for charity on January 13.
Suzy is raising money for the Make a Wish Foundation to enable it to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.
She said: “My husband put his foot down at having a skinhead wife so I’m settling for a super short pixie crop instead. Going pixie short might not seem like a huge decision to make but it is for me as I’ve pretty much always had long thick hair.”
Suzy will also be donating her hair to the UK version of Locks of Love, The Little Princess Trust, to help children suffering hair loss due to cancer treatment.
The author has recently completed her first two novels for teenagers, Raven and December Moon, which are part of The Raven Saga.
