A Dutch tourist got a horrible Easter welcome to Albufeira. The 25-year-old had only just arrived and was out for the evening with a friend when she was accosted in an alleyway and thrown to the ground so violently that her arm was broken.
As the thief made off with the young woman’s bag – containing money and her mobile phone – the tourist was left in agony.
The incident happened in the area of Malpique, on a stairway that linked to the centre, writes Correio da Manhã.
Police are investigating.
