Algarve Artists Network expresses hope through art

Exhibition runs until August 28 at Museu de Faro

The ‘Artists for Hope’ exhibition opened on Saturday, June 11 at Museu de Faro.

The Algarve Artists Network (AAN) expressed thanks to the director of the museum and his team for the “wonderful venue. It’s a ‘must see’ ancient cloister in a convent in Faro old town”.

Open Tuesday to Sunday until August 28, there are 15 artworks; paintings, sculptures, photos and collages.

The AAN had to step back from in-person exhibitions for a while. However, now the members are full of hope and a spirit of adventure for the next phase of the AAN, helped along by new members joining and the arrival of spring.

“The theme ‘Artists for Hope’ feels like the perfect way to begin anew,” says AAN.

The gallery is open Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 6pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 10.30am to 5pm.
