A NEW advertising strategy has been launched by the tourism association of the Algarve (ATA) to encourage British tourists to visit the Algarve.
Responding to the devaluation of sterling in relation to the euro and the possible decrease in British tourism, the ATA will be advertising on 95 taxis in London between May 25 and July 25. Adverts will also be shown on Sky Sports News and Sky News between major sporting and golf events. These new initiatives will run in conjunction with other promotions run by the ATA in the UK.
