Wedding performers Stefanie Jacobsen and David Santos of the Double Cocktail band have picked up the award for Weddings Abroad Supplier of the Year at the Ireland´s Top 100 Wedding Suppliers Awards on February 15.
The couple who first met in Amsterdam before moving to Madeira and then finally settling in the Algarve, accepted their award at a ceremony held at the Crown Plaza Northwood Sanctuary Hotel in Dublin.
Stefanie Jacobsen told the Algarve Resident: “Within two years of coming to the Algarve, we have grown to be the premier wedding entertainers in the Algarve for English, Irish and Scottish weddings, playing almost 95 per cent of all foreign weddings in the area.”
The band beat off competition from businesses in Italy, Malta and the Algarve and see the award as an acknowledgement for the personal and professional service they provide at weddings.
“Winning this award means recognition from the brides for the very personal work we do and we would like to thank all the brides and grooms that voted for us,” she added.
