Algar, the Algarve’s solid waste disposal company, has donated €1,776 to the Algarve Oncology Association (AOA) and the region’s Red Cross delegations following two campaigns which involved collecting nearly nine tonnes of plastic waste.
The campaigns are still ongoing, so anyone interested in supporting the cause can deliver their plastic waste and bottle tops at the AOA main office in Faro or the Red Cross institutions.
